Andrew du Bois de Vroylande is a Staff Attorney in the Pro Bono program. In this role, Andrew develops partnerships with law firms and attorneys in private practice that are interested in providing pro bono legal services to eligible individuals and families. Prior to joining Legal Aid DC, Andrew worked as a Staff Attorney in the housing and education units at Northeast Legal Aid in Lynn, Massachusetts.
In this role, Andrew represented hundreds of individuals in trial and appellate proceedings in state and district courts. Andrew primarily focused on eviction defense, public housing, and claims under the I.D.E.A. Andrew graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 2022. During law school, Andrew was a student attorney and, later, a research assistant for the Immigrants' Rights Program. Andrew was also an editor on the Public Interest Law Journal. Before law school, Andrew worked as an investigator for the Defender Association of Philadelphia and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in legal studies and economics from Temple University. Andrew is an avid soccer fan and the proud parent of two cats.
