Katherine Shea is a Staff Attorney in the Housing Law Unit. She represents low-income tenants in eviction cases before the D.C. Superior Court. She also litigates housing law claims before administrative bodies, such as the D.C. Housing Authority and the Office of Administrative Hearings.
Prior to joining Legal Aid DC in May 2023, Katherine clerked for the Honorable Judge Brian Morris of the United States District Court for the District of Montana.
Katherine received her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 2021. While in law school, Katherine served as a Legal Research and Writing Law Fellow and a staff editor for the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law.
